Q1
Well, I think both of them have pros and cons, but students can get more benefits when they do in smaller classes. Although we can meet up with a lot of different people in classes, it’s not that easy to make good relationships with teachers or friends. Back in high school, we had only 15 students in my class. So the teacher was able to know each student’s name and even their personal background. And whenever we had questions, it was easy to ask the teacher. So we got feedback immediately. However, in a big class with a lot of students, I don’t think it would be easy. This is why they should study in smaller classes.
Q2
In the reading passage, it says the university should close the campus coffeehouse. This is because not many students are using and the food in there is not very good. However, the woman in the conversation disagrees with it for the following two reasons. First, being never crowded is good. To be specific, it is a good place to study because it’s not noisy. Also, you can study at the library but in the coffeehouse, you can study over some food. Second, the food is even better now. To be more specific, they have a new manager and he focuses on the quality of the food which is healthy for us.
Q3
According to the reading passage, a flagship species is a particular species that represents the threatened habitat to people. On top of that, in the environmental science class, the professor explains it by using an example. Beautiful birds, Macaw live in the South American rainforest. This area is suffering from cutting down a lot of trees. Trees play important roles in Macaw. Because trees were cleared away, a lot of birds and other animals lost their habitat. As a result, their populations declined. To solve this problem, people in the area spread this problem everywhere. They made books and brochures with information about the Macaw and gave them to people in schools and community centers in the area. Luckily, they contributed money and help the people who tried to save macaw. Eventually, the number of Macaw started to increase.
Q4
In the literature class, the professor explains two types of narrators. The first one is an objective narrator. To be specific, it can describe what people do and say in the story. For example, there is a man and a woman who take a trip in a story. In this case, an objective narrator just explains what they do and say like they get on the train and sit and look out the window. That’s it. The other one is an omniscient narrator. Specifically, it delivers not only what they say or do but also we know what they think. For instance, in a story, the couple is going to visit an old friend. He is nervous because he hasn’t seen his friend for a long time. And he is also worried if his wife likes his friend. So it provides more information than an objective narrator.

Hi, I have a question. Do i need to explain the concept of 'flagship species' (the concept in the passage) before explaining the example given by the lecturer? Or I do I just mention that concept like ' thus this example supports the concept of flagship species' ?

Q4. The professor explains two types of narrator that an author can employ in his novel. First she mentions Objective Narrator. In this form of narrator, the narrator only describes the superficial aspects of the story. For example, if an author describes a man and a woman travelling. He can only describe what they say and what they do. So, it forces readers to think. The second example is the omniscient narrator. This narrator knows everything including feelings and thoughts. For example, the man and the woman visits an old friend of the man. and The friend is nervous and excited because he hasn't seen his friend for a long time. These feelings and thoughts can be explained by the omniscient narrator. So, these are the examples of the types of narrator that a writer can use.
