Task 2:
Travelling definitely makes a person wiser. Many people believe that the solo travels are amazing whereas, I personally believe that the group travels are the best to explore the place in a better way. I think in this way, because it is more secured and economically suitable for a person. I will be elaborating my view in the following paragraphs with the suitable examples.
Undoubtedly, the group travels are much more secured than the solo trips as it will be easier to arrange the transportation and accommodations because many people are involved. For instance, most of the hotels have pre-bookings for the large groups as they are accommodated in separate sections of the hotels, they also enjoys certain perks like guides and transport services as a large number of people have booked the place together. Moreover, the chances of facing any kind of fraud is minimum when a number of people are involved which is otherwise very high at an unknown place.
Furthermore, the travelling package consists of huge discounts. For example, several amusement parks offers discounts like family pass or pass for certain number of people, as this scheme lures more audiences and provides better rate of profit to the owner. On the other hand, this makes the travel economical for the traveler. These types of perks are not provided to a solo traveler as the rate of profit is considered very low.
Finally, the group travels are much more interesting in comparison to the solo travels as it improves bonding between the relationships and one can explore an enthusiastic side of the personality. For example, a psychological survey conducted by London University depicts that 70 percent of the people enjoy more while travelling with a group of family or friends rather than travelling alone.
In conclusion, the travelling is something which allows us to explore a different side of our personality. It teaches us a lot of new things and helps us to become a better person. I personally prefer to enjoy this experience along with my friends and family as it helps us to improve the bonding of the relationships and is financially less burdensome. Hence, it is very important to have some time for travelling and see the world which is beyond our tight schedules of busy work lives.

The given passage and the lecture had discussed the colonization on the planet Mars versus Titan, which is one of the moons of Saturn. The passage was claiming that the Titan is more suitable for life rather than the planet Mars, whereas, the speaker thinks otherwise.
First of all, the passage claims that due to the low atmospheric pressure on Titan, it can be seen as much more suitable place for living while, the Mars has no atmospheric pressure. Contradicting to this the speaker banishes any benefits of the low atmospheric pressure as the space suites will surely be required while stepping out of the space ship due to the lack of oxygen. Moreover, the presence of water on Mars is the most crucial thing which make it an utmost important planet for colonization.
Secondly, the low gravity of titan that was seen as the advantage by the writer is counter argued by the speaker as the low gravity is harmful for the normal functioning of the body organs, especially the heart. Lastly, the passage has shown the irrelevance of the distance as the fuel usage is almost equal in both the situations. On the other hand, the speaker suggests that the distance will delay the signals from the Titan and the excessive long journey has to be carried for providing the essentials to the people on Titan. Hence it makes difficult for the people on Earth to stay in continuous connection with the ones on Titan.
Overall, the passage supports the colonization on the Saturn’s moon, Titan and had provided several arguments regarding its comparison with mars. Whereas, the speaker has clarified that most of the arguments were not of the practical importance and the colonization on Mars can be the best option so far.

The article introduces the question about the if is better to colonization Titan moon of Saturn or Mars. The reading states the opinion for three theories that the best option is Titan. In contrast, the listening casts doubt on these hypotheses because he says that option of Titan has flaws.
Firstly, the passage begins to say that atmospheric presure of the moon is more suitable for the humans beins than the Mars that is more density; morover, in Titan could found methane that is a mineral that can be used for porpulsion. However, the lecturer challenges this opinion with the simple fact that Mars is nearer to the sun than Titan so it is warmer the statement about atmosperic pressures he thinks that no matter if the astrounauts are in Mars or Titan they must be used a protecting suit also the importance of Oxigen for live; that in both are rare but the most important factor is water that Mars has more than Titan.
Secondly, the writer goes on to say that Titan has lowere gravity and is easier the transportation. Again, the speaker opposes to this argument because the low gravity is an important factor for humans because if we live in this type of world our heard will be deteriorated so he thinks that Titan does not have the adecuate habitat for humanity.
It is finally stated in the passage that no matter the distance between Titan and the Earth because the rocket's fuel is not need in the vacuum of space. On another hand, the professor in the listening claims that distance is an important factor because the people who travel to Mars or Titan they will need communication and supplies that is more difficult for the logistic staff to give them if the tripulation are in long distance.

1. Integrated Task
The article and lecture both deal with the advantages and disadvantages of Mars or Titan colonization. Whilst the author thinks Mars colonization would be more difficult and less resourceful by giving 3 major reasons, the lecturer opposes the author’s claims. In his vision, these reasons do not hold water.
First, the author points out that Titan has more common features with Earth than Mars has, then, he proceeds saying that Titan has an atmospheric pressure similar to the Earth, while Mars has almost no atmospheric pressure and is just 1% of Earth’s mass density. In contrast, the lecturer goes on to say that it is not a relevant point, what really matters is the oxygen availability and neither of the planets have it in sufficient concentrations.
Second, the author mentions that Titan has lower gravity, which helps the landing of air gears. Additionally, it makes the consumption of the rocket fuels decrease, since less fuel will be required for the landing, seeing that the largest rocket fuel consumption is in the landing processes (90%). Conversely, the author says that it was proven by previous research that lower gravity causes body deterioration over time, so in the end it would take a toll in human’s health. On top of that, he emphasizes that the increased fuel consumption does not outweigh the problem of body degradation.
Finally, the author claims that the long distance between Titan and Earth would not represent a negative impact because the economy made in the rocket fuel would be tremendous. On the other hand, the lecturer refutes this idea by stating that it would have a bad impact on Earth-Titan communication, since it would take long time to deliver and receive messages and even the food supply would be delayed.
2. Independent Task
This question may raise mixed feelings in many people, but for me it is strikingly clear. From my point of view, traveling with friends is a far more interesting way of travelling and I feel this way for three major reasons which I am going to address in the following paragraphs.
First, I am a woman and traveling alone can be dangerous in some places. Unfortunately, the violence rate is just getting higher over the past years and crimes targeting women have arisen. Around 3 months ago, a friend of mine travelled to a different country by herself and she was sexually and verbally assaulted. Additionally, she was called names because she did not have a husband. Clearly, this situation is not what we imagine when thinking about travelling, but it is a struggle that women are far more likely to suffer from than men. Overall, the presence of friends makes us feel more comfortable and safer. Regardless of your company, it is crucial to make sure we are heading to a safe place and maybe get to know more about the local culture.
Secondly, when I am with my friends I can enjoy the places more. Friends are important presences in our life and most of them are able to bring us moments of happiness and delightment. In this matter, I could recall a day in which I decided to travel to my hometown by myself, but at the same time I was feeling down and lazy and did not cultivate the courage to take action. All of sudden,a friend popped in at my house and convinced me to go immediately. So, it is an example of how friends can reinvigorate us and make us see the bright side of things.
Finally, travelling with friends can be cost-friendly. Whenever I set out to travel to a different place, I always budget it in advance in order to settle everything and part of my checklist is to contact some close friends, so I can have their company and we can have a great time together without spending a lot of money. Often, after my first proposal for my friends they accept, because they know it is advantageous, great company and just half of the bills.
In conclusion, I think that traveling alone can be a great experience, but the adventure of disbrave the world with your closest friends on a low budget is just eye-popping.

From my previous experience, I would choose to travel in a group rather than traveling alone. Traveling alone can sometimes be boring and lonely. What about those times when we have to use the bathroom and can't trust anyone to take care of our things?
It reminds me of a time when I and five other friends of mine decided to take a trip until there I had just traveled alone. We were at the hotel and breakfast time was almost over and I didn't show up at the cafeteria. I woke up when my friend Lisa knocked on the door calling me saying that I had to run if I wanted to eat something. If I had been alone in that hotel, I certainly would have missed breakfast.
Another remarkable moment was in a museum. I was looking at a specific art, but I suddenly started laughing. I looked to my left and my friend Lisa was laughing with me, although she didn't know why I was laughing so hard. After a few minutes of tears and laughter, I was finally able to tell her why. The reason had nothing to do with the painting, but it was about a little girl that I saw beside me looking at the painting. She was making a face trying to understand what the pose of the art lady should mean.
Certainly, I would have to restrain myself if Lisa was not with me. No one around me would have understood me as well as my friend Lisa. After we left the Museum, we told what happened at that moment with my other friends and everyone started laughing when they saw the funny faces I was making trying to imitate the little girl at the Museum.
Without a doubt, my choice would be to travel in a group than alone.

Task 1:
The article states that, Titan, one of Saturn's moons is a much suitable option to set up human colonies on with abundant of resources in access and provides three reasons of support. However, the professor explains that Mars is a better place to colonize as compared to titan and refutes each of the author's reasons.
First, the reading claims that Titan has atmospheric pressure nearly equal to Earth's but on the other hand Mars has almost no such thing. It further adds that Titan is rich in resources such as methane which can be used for propulsion. The professor refutes to this point by saying that it doesn't matter if Titan possesses all these qualities it would still be not inhabitable due it's hostile environment, scarcity of oxygen and water. Whereas he claims that Mars has much more quantity of water as compared to Titan.
Second, the article posits that Titan has low gravity which helps rockets in their landing and taking off processes. However, the professor says that low gravity causes severe issues in the human body. He provides evidence for this by giving example of heart deterioration of astronauts who spend months in the space with low gravity. Therefore he supports the idea of going to Mars even though Titan has less gravity.
Third, the reading says that travelling to Titan needs small proportion of fuel to be spent in the vacuum space. Hence it put forths that distance will be of less importance. The professor opposes this point by explaining that communication and supplying goods would be harder tasks to achieve when there is a large distance gap between Earth and Titan.
PS: Please review this, feedback would help me. My exam is on 1st May.
