Let’s have some fun and improve your English speaking fluency by reading aloud. Our first book will be Holes. You can get your copy here:
For this lesson you will need the book. You can use the E-book, Paperback or any version but you will need a book to read from.
Here is how reading aloud with me will help you improve your English fluency.
1. You will get to hear how I bread down words to pronounce the.
2. You will get to hear how a native blends sounds and words together naturally.
3. You will learn how to pause to emphasize elements of what you say.
4. You will learn proper tone and inflection to make your speaking more dynamic.
5. You will have fun reading in English and that is what this is really about. Having fun while learning makes you learn faster.
I recommend that you watch this video with headphones on and your book. Sit in a place where you can comfortably read out loud and not disturb anyone. This is very important. You must read aloud with me to benefit from the speaking drills. I have used this method for years and my intermediate level English students see fast improvement in their speaking fluency. It also improves their reading skills.

1.
There is no lake at Camp Green Lake. There once was a very a large lake here, the largest like in Texas. That was over a hundred years ago. Now it is just a dry, flat wasteland.
There used to be a town of Green Like as well. The town shriveled and dried up along with the lake, and the people who lived there.
During the summer the daytime temperature hovers around ninety-five degrees in the shade – if you can find any shade. There's not much shade in a big dry lake.
The only trees are two old oaks on the eastern edge of the "lake". A hammock is stretched between the two trees, and a log cabin stands behind that.
The campers are forbidden the lie in that hammock. It belongs to the Warden. The Warden owns the shade.
Out on the lake, rattlesnakes and scorpions find shade under rocks and in the holes dug by the campers.
Here's a good rule to remember about rattlesnakes and scorpions: If you don't bother them, they won't bother you.
Usually.
Begin bitten by a scorpion or even a rattlesnake is not the worst thing that can happen to you. You won't die.
Usually.
Sometimes a camper will try to be bitten by a scorpion, or even a small rattlesnake. Then he will get two spend a day or to recovering in his tent, instead to having to dig a hole out on the lake.
But you don't want to be bitten by a yellow-spotted lizard. That's the worst thing that can happen to you. You will die a slow and painful death.
Always.
If you get bitten by a yellow-spotted lizard, you might as well go into the shade of the osk trees and lie in the hammock.
There is nothing anyone can do to you anymore.

I'm gonna give my own words about that.
There was a town of a green lake, it was the largest lake in state of Texas, but the lake dried up and shriveled and also do the town and people who lived there.
Campers used to going there to camping and they tried to be bitten by rattlesnake and scorpion (omg if I were camper, thats the last thing I'm gonna try.
they should go into the shade and lied down in the hammock that belonged to Warden, the hammock was stretched between two old oak trees. (The Wardens know Campers are so crazy, perhaps, lol)
If you're gonna camping, you must be carefull to yellow-spotted lizard (a type of repitle) If you got bitten by a snake or scorpion you probably will survive, but if you got bitten by a yellow-spotted lizart, there's nothing anyone can do to you unless the lord of death, this guy can do something, He'll be waiting for your slow and painfull death.

I forgot to put my answer here.
What do you think about this story?
I think the Camp Green Lake is a bad camp.
There is not lake, there’s not much shade.
Usually you will try to be bitten by rattlesnake or scorpion. And even wort, you can be to bitten by yellow -spotted lizard and you die a slow and paint full death without having anything to do.
That’s place is really dangerous .
