Heloisa Rocha Rincon says
Can I highlight the topics in the toefl test like you did on the examples? Or should I write the topics on a paper?
Nhan Lai says
Is option A for the bonus question wrong? It is clearly stated at the end of paragraph 1 that: "trees in temperate forest that are insect-pollinated grow as solitary, widely spread individuals". It doesn't mean there are fewer tree in temperate forests (probably compared with tropic forests).
By the way, is the last sentence of paragraph 1 the main idea? For me, it's just a minor one which is an addition information for insect-pollinated species of temperate forest in comparison to tropic forests.
I replace option A with option B which sort of relating to wind-pollination, not insect-pollination, and almost describe this sentence: "For the relative few dominant tree species, … this is quite a safe gamble" in the 1st paragraph.
