But can you really rely on the insiders at ETS to show you how to crush the exam they make?

In this video, I discuss how the edX TOEFL prep course performs in the areas of lesson quality, student support, and the quality of the TOEFL practice material.

All of which are very important factors to consider when choosing a TOEFL prep course.

In my opinion, I believe that most students who are looking for in-depth TOEFL test-taking strategies will not find much value from the edX TOEFL course.

The test-taking strategies taught in this course are quite shallow and are only appropriate for students who already have a strong background using English in an academic setting, who just want to know the fundamental strategies to get a satisfactory score on the TOEFL iBT.

So, if you’re someone who does not fall into that category, I’ll suggest you look at other TOEFL courses we recommend here:
